Today I went to the Los Angeles fashion district for the first time - it was amazing!!! I felt like I was in fabric heaven. If you can't find something in the fashion district, it probably doesn't exist.
I got (almost) everything I need for my new costumes for Anime California and PMX (why are they only 1 week apart?!?) and have already started sewing my skirt for one of the costumes! Can you guess what it is?
Unfortunately, my poor sewing machine has a hard time working with the vinyl and the thread keeps fraying/breaking. Pretty sure I need to oil it up but for now I'll just have to work through it... Here's a picture of the back, you can see the places where the thread had some issues :P

In other news, I finally found a place to live more the foreseeable future! I'm super excited about it and will be moving soon. I've also been attending bartending school so if anybody knows of a place that's hiring bartenders, let me know haha!
