Wow... I am really bad at keeping up with this blog. This is especially sad because of my first post where I say that I planned on keeping up with it. Oh well, maybe I actually will this time!
The past week has been very busy and the next week is going to be even more so! I recently moved apartments and now have a bigger place all to myself which will be amazingly nice for sewing purposes. My parents came out to help me move, and on one of the days we took a break and went to Disneyland! I twas my first time going in over 10 years so it was pretty exciting. I decided I wanted to disneybound, but only had time to use items I already had in my closet, so I ended up going as Lady from Lady in the Tramp. I don't think anyone recognized it as a disneybound outfit, but I did get some compliments on the outfit regardless!
After moving I was planning on spending the week preparing for Anime Expo, but I got a call from my manager that I had been offered a role in a film and that filming was starting this week (in 4 hours). I'm extremely honored to be offered the role, and hopeful that this will get the ball rolling on my career! The only problem is that some of the filming conflicts with AX, so I won't be able to spend as much time at the con as I would have hoped. Luckily, I have the 4th of July off and also will have a few hours on the other days to explore and do some photo shoots. I plan on bringing only 3 costumes because of the shortened time: Junko, Nonon, and Kanako Wakanabe/The President from Stardriver! I'm remaking Nonon and The President is a new costume so hopefully I can get it all done even with filming this weekend.
